Such activities are crucial for better understanding the migration routes and threats faced by this rare bird of prey.<br>Supplementary feeding of greater spotted eagles is also an important element of conservation efforts. This occurs during periods of limited natural food availability, particularly in winter or in areas with transformed habitats. Providing an additional food source increases the birds&#8217; chances of survival and affects their condition. This can also translate into higher breeding success in subsequent seasons.<br>As the wintering period ends, greater spotted eagles gradually leave their wintering grounds and begin migrating to their breeding grounds.
