October 8th

Field trip (personal participation only)

  • Gniezno Forest District

    Approximately 1/4 of the area of the forest district (approx. 4,500 ha) was destroyed as a result of the hurricane of August 11, 2017. Currently, works on planting a new forest are underway in the forest district. Completion of the works (reconstruction of the post-disaster area) will last until 2023.

  • Archaeological Museum in Biskupin

    The archaeological reserve in Biskupin is one of the largest in Europe. Due to its exceptional value for the cultural heritage of Poland, it has been recognized as a Historical Monument. It covers an area of about 38 ha with numerous traces of ancient settlements, from the Stone Age to the early Middle Ages.
